Headed up to BC for the US Memorial long weekend and decided to check out some of the places mentioned here. Was staying in Metrotown so first checked out some of the Kingsway places. - Four Seasons: Sign said Open, rang the bell several times and waited 5-10 minutes, no one answered the door. - SaSa: Only one masseuse was available which I recognized from another place and was instantly turned off by the memory. Said I would come back later and walked out. - Tokyo Massage: Walked inside and immediately heard loud profanities being exchanged from down the hall, seemed like an employee about to flip off their boss and storm out. Walked out. Then miraculously my luck changed when I decided to get as far away from Kingsway as possible and headed to Richmond. - Swan Lake: Saw Theresa and Judy back to back and needless to say, it was well worth the drive, the time, and the $. Exceptional customer service with a smile. Moral of the story: SL is the golden standard and a sacred institution that should be preserved at all costs. Let's tip extra and keep it running for future generations.
