Details with reviews - discussion thread

We are getting WAY too many short reviews, that say something like: 1. I don't want to go into details but, she's amazing and you must go see her! 2. I don't kiss and tell, but, she's wonderful and you must treat her well! 3. I won't share what services or rates I paid, YMMV, but book her this instant! We are going to be deleting more and more of these, they are promo posts, not reviews. Yes, YMMV, but sharing if it was a BBBJ or CBJ isn't that much to ask. Nor is asking what you paid and for how long. There are boards out there that want plain basic reviews or recommendations. PERB isn't one of them. Read our review guide, and provide at least some useful information or prepare yourself for infractions for unpaid advertising. We are also getting plenty promo posts from guys announcing provider x or y is back in town. They almost never include a review of any kind, just pure advertising and they will also be deleted and infractions issued. Thoughtful reviews are always welcome, honest reviews are always required. Blatant fanboy behavior is not encouraged however. Please chime in, what are you basic expectations for a review?

avatar SmikeSmith 2025-08-29 16:53

Thanks, I know this is a problem, as a review writer I do feel uncomfortable rating people directly, but I think this is a good middle ground. Provide the service and rate (although I know some providers ask that you not share?) and don’t skimp on details, but let those of us who do t want to rate a woman’s face out of 10 still share our reviews.

avatar rinamood 2025-08-29 17:03

I would recommend reviewers to at least write out some highlights and why they like the SP they're reviewing, or vice versa if it's not a positive review. Not a fan of play-by-play excruciatingly detailed reviews - those can feel creepy to me. Also not a fan of numerical ratings in looks, service, attitude. There is a middle ground and I don't think it should be difficult to achieve. (1) What did you book for, (2) what did you like, (3) what did you want more of, and (4) would you repeat?

avatar ChromeGasCap 2025-08-29 18:18

Rating is a fools endeavour. Everyone has different preferences and as a result would rate differently, or read the ratings differently. All too often an ad will have athletic images when the SP clearly does not have that body type, yet someone will chime in they are even hotter than their picture. I would beg to differ. It is far better in the above case to indicate the truth, something like "they are a little heavier than the images, but I loved that". This allows the reader of the review to make his/her own determination.

Would you see her again? Really? Why? No rating required. That's basically what I aim for in a review. It isn't perfect, but it provides enough info to make a somewhat informed decision.

My biggest pet peeve is when they use the top secret pooner code for how much they paid. For crying out loud, just write $300, or $350. Not $$$, or $$$.5.

My basic expectations, and what I find most useful, are: Did you get what you expected based on the Sp’s advertising or what she told you in your communication? In other words are the services/experience advertised what you received, and are the pictures in her advertising accurate. Did you have the same experience as other reviewers in the past? if no please say what was different, good or bad. Communication: Was making the booking a week long endeavour of waiting for replies or an easy exercise, and was the communication on the day re location and access good? Punctuality: Was she on time for your appointment? (within reason, of course life happens). This is a pet peeve, and to me indicates how professional a SP is. Be on time, and don’t give me this “just 15 more minutes handsome” bullshit. I made time in my schedule for this date, please be punctual. Safety / comfort. Did you feel safe and comfortable in her presence and Is the incall in a safe location? Also is the incall a pleasant space, neat and inviting, or is it a mess? This detail speaks volumes about many things. Like Rina said above, I don’t need the full Penthouse Forum play by play, but I do like a sense of the vibe and mood the Sp sets. Is she cold and business like, sensual, friendly? These things are more important than explicit details but by all means do give some sense of how the sex is. BJ covered or not etc... Finally, if you’re a guy who likes to see a woman more than once tell me if you’d see her again. Personally I don’t like ratings on a scale of 1-10 for looks etc.., its far too subjective and tastes vary widely. The only useful rating for me is the overall experience. 5 options: Holy shit that was amazing!!!. Good sex that I would expect from a pro Meh I could have stayed home and had a better time by myself. Run from this girl as fast as you can.

I love this post! I get so tired of "not going into details"..then don't waste bandwidth. Never liked ratings cuz it's subjective And "2 browns 1 pink" when$250 needs less typing..the Bond wannabes are too thick to understand.

Hold over from years and years ago when people thought that by using browns and reds would save them from prosecution in they were ever traced to this board. What judge or lawyer wouldn't be able to put 1 and 1 together to figure they were talking about money is beyond me. "No your honor, we were talking about sweet potatoes, not money" Thankful that those days are mostly over, but some habits are hard to break. Maybe people are using it to sound cool? Like some sort of retrovibe? If people are going to keep using that system, we really should create a secret handshake as well.

avatar SolidSnake 2025-08-29 21:15

I applaud the clear policy and its enforcement! Too many people have been posting useless fluff/endorsement/unpaid advertising for too long, pretending they are reviews. I'd say this is the single most serious problem on Perb.

avatar taster 2025-08-29 21:44

Biggest pet peeves : Long winded reviews leaving out service details either on purpose or not important to OP : e.g. Lfk or Dfk or avoiding altogether Saying sp can pass for 20's when it's obvious they're 30's to 40's and beyond. Saying sp is slim (ectomorph) when irl she's an endomorph Majority of posts by some members chiming in but not adding anything to review.... I should hit ignore button more often. I realize Mod has said anyone can reply to a review even if it's just an empty thought/intention useless to everyone else....especially when said member doesn't post reviews. Not mentioning if sp looks like pics or is a good representation.

avatar Ratbert_2008 2025-08-29 21:45

Does this apply to 411 posts and if so how? I assume a direct answer to a question without extra detail is okay. Case in point: grusse said: does anyone know when Michelle is coming back?? Horndog14 said: She will be back the 3rd week of September. Click to expand... Click to expand...

Mods, is it possible to set up a “template” post for certain forums so that people start with a few points to fill out? whether they delete them or not, at least we’ll get more people covering some of the most important points (for example, do they have freezies in their freezer for this hot weather?).

Ratbert_2008 said: Does this apply to 411 posts and if so how? I assume a direct answer to a question without extra detail is okay. Case in point: Click to expand... Yes that would be okay, it’s when you start adding phone numbers and links to websites then it becomes unpaid advertising. Another issue in the 411 forums is members posting screenshots of LL advertisements or posting a picture of the lady and copying and pasting the text part of the ad, posting pictures of non supporting members is not allowed.

I have no idea if links to Tryst profiles are allowed. Presumably, SP, MP, and Agency websites that are not advertisers are not allowed

Please don’t put into a review what we did. It’s private between you and me. Everything I do is on my website. I’m a human being not a sex robot. I am not going to rip anybody off service wise but I am an extremely private person. Sex workers have kids, partners, and your mileage may vary is a huge part of healthy sex work. If a lady offers bbbj, she’s smart to not offer it to every single person that walks through the door. I find that explicit reviews attract clients that I’d rather not have. When I was on this board before, I had nothing but positive reviews and had a few problem dates. While non explicit reviews attract easy going fun guys that read my website and that I’m actually interested in cultivating a client/ sp relationship with. Everything said on line is here for life. With any advertising I do, I think how will I feel if my dad or brother came across my site? Same with reviews. I did not get into this business to be a famous pornstar. All anybody needs to know was looked like her pictures or didn’t look like her pictures. I found her really pretty. Not my cup of tea etc. Her services were as advertised. She did not upsell me for this or that. Everything was as promised. She upsold me for every little thing She was a lot of fun. I’d repeat. She was very mechanical. I will not repeat. Rates are constantly changing in this business but rates are a good thing to include in a review as well My 2 cents anyways.
