I used to be a serial dater. Sometimes I’d have a handful of lovers at once. I’ve been in love a few times. I’ve loved many. I’ve been serious once or twice. I’ve broken a lot of hearts, purely by accident. But I’ve never once liked somebody enough to want to legally get tangled up with them.
