https://theprovince.com/entertainme...-about-canada?utm_source=firefox-newtab-en-ca I like her. Seems like she is in her happy place. I wish I was......in her happy place. Sold her Malibu home for $11 million. She seems to have landed on her feet.

I like her too!

I liked her first.

I'd be in a happy place too if I had $11 million and could walk the beach, plant gardens, not have to work, or do whatever i wanted fir work and not care about what anyone thought about me. Im not saying I dislike her. Just that she's another wealthy person with many advantages that most of us never have in our lives.

True, but I think she put in the effort to get what she has and had a lot of people crap on her (not saying you're doing that) for no other reason than her looks (which is a valuable commodity in Hollywood, go figure).

And people who do more valuable work like frontline medical professional are seeing their pay fall behind cost of living. She's benefited from this situation and has far more resources at her disposal to find peace in life. I know that the life of many of us would be more peaceful if our jobs paid us 20% more.

I've seen her twice on the island, 1st time in country grocer, looked like she was with her body guard, huge fella! She made eye contact and even said hi😀 2nd time she was walking in her neighborhood and I was driving by and tooted my horn and she waved again😁

She actually grew up in Comox but has turned her back on that place because of abuse she suffered from a family member (I believe it might have been her father). A friend of mine dated her when she lived there. He said she was really nice but she had a lot of stuff to deal with. Her fame really didn't help her much except to garner her lots of attention and money. I do hope she has finally found some peace and healing in her life. I can't imagine what it would be like to have your life out there for everyone's comment and criticism. And just imagine trying to date not knowing if it's just someone wanting to bang someone famous, wants money, or what their motivation is in that situation.

Money alone is no garantor of happiness - see Kate Spade. IMO she was surrounded by leeches and exploited her whole life. Good for her for getting away from them.

"Her fame really didn't help her much except to garner her lots of attention and money." Right. Downer. I guess the reason I started the thread is that now she is entering Milf/Gilf territory and looking very good in that zone, I really would like to fuck her. Duly noted cheeriness of her life at present. I wish mine was so. "Barkis is willing"

Her family is originally from Ladysmith but she did graduate in Comox. Her wiki bio doesn't indicate exactly when she moved from Ladysmith to Comox. It does say she was molested by a female badysitter from ages 6-10, raped by a 25 year old man at 12 and gang-raped by her boyfriend and 6 buddies at 14.

Her benefiting from her work in a particular industry to have a peaceful retirement isn't any different than if I were to save and invest wisely for mine. Just depends on how you get there (yet another different topic).

Pretty much every attractive woman who aged into their late 50s+ and is on multiple divorces finds peace with a big pile of money. She gives off the same vibes.
