If you go out with your SP for dinner or social date, would anyone think you're a real couple?

avatar Chessmen 2026-10-18 23:03

I chuckle a bit when reading ads from a SP who says she is available for social functions like class reunions and social events. If you go out to dinner or a formal, do you think anyone would believe you two are a realistic couple? Why or why not?

avatar gcj 2026-10-19 02:20

No one is paying attention or will care

avatar UhOh 2026-10-19 02:42

This can’t be a serious question

Well, I think it would depend on the social function and if anyone there knows you personally or professionally. A little context would be helpful….

Only been out on a date with an SP once. Went to the food court at a mall for coffee. She got a lot of looks cuz she has huge bolt-ons she likes to show off. That's all that I saw was some guys taking a second look (.) (.) She coulda been my daughter for all that matters...

avatar Bang4thebuck 2026-10-19 04:59

If there's a super obvious mismatch then some may question it or give awkward looks but most people would mind their own business. I wouldnt do it for a class reunion though lol that's cringe. If I do a social date its with a SP or sugar baby I already know and have some chemistry with. I dont want a random woman showing up drunk with fake DDD's spilling out embarrassing me.

I have been on flights and stayed at hotels and seen couples that are clearly 30 to 40 years apart. It's none of my business, nor anyone else's. They didn't give a damn what anyone thought and seemed to be having a great time. No one knew them and they kept to themselves. Now, taking a paid companion to a company christmas party or other function where your personal and professional life might mix is much more risky. Worst case scenario your boss is also a client and now you are the guy who brought a sex worker as a paid companion to a company function. Not likely worth it.

I would do it if her face was hidden and if she was Asian and around my age, cause that’s similar to civvies I date anyway. If I’m with a 6’2” redhead people know what’s up. Male waiters are weird sometimes at casual places but high end restaurants they are too well trained to do stuff like that. Hope this helps.

Bought tickets to see a famous comedian and the opening act was sent out to warm up the audience. He targeted a couple that shared a visibly wide age gap. He appeared to be in his late fifties, she in her early twenties. Comedian asks how they met. The older man says “in school” and in a split second the comedian responds “in school, are you kidding, were you working there as the janitor at the time”. The girl covered her head so fast from embarrassment. People were howling with laughter at them. If you try this and it comes with a disparity in age or physical appearance, I’d suggest you have a good story prepared beforehand for any social events or reunions in which you might be publicly or privately called out for it.

U guys are behind the 8-ball, guy said they met in school and meant it. He was her teacher lol

It worked for Richard Gere in Pretty Woman so anything is possible, Hollywood or real life.

There were a couple of escorts I had lunch or dinner with. This was 20 years ago now. These were social engagements only. Unlike many ads I see now, they never charged for their time. I was generous with my assistance in various matters. In some cases the lady paid. I went out for dim sum with one of these ladies several months ago. They have both retired from the industry. I’ve also been all over the BC coast. It’s quite common to see fellows out in their boats of various sizes in the company of much younger women, most typically Asian, some quite hot I might add. B

Context matters... are we talking about about the high-society scene, or the average-joe middle class scene? In the high-society scene, no one cares... you're 40, she's 20... You're in a basic tux, while everyone else wonders how her evening dress defies gravity.... you have money, she wants it, and they know.... Middle-class is more judgmental,... you're 40, she's 20,.. and if you're dressed in basic Carhartt work clothes at the local country-steakhouse, and she's dressed all hoochie like,... it's obvious this is an arranged 'transaction', or possibly a grooming session for human trafficking. People will ask questions.... but if the girl dressed more 'conservatively' I'm sure people will assume it's a 'daddy-daughter dinner'....

avatar tzfang 2026-10-20 21:34

Honestly, no one cares, and you risk bumping into someone you know or who knows you. It will be even cringier and more awkward. Save that money and time for somebody you have a real connection with.

avatar oldshark 2026-10-20 22:54

I have been out to dinner multiple times with a particular SP. I don't think anyone ever cared.

avatar YYC 2026-10-20 23:01

I can tell you from years of experience in this hobby that people at restaurants, hotels, theatres etc. will pay way more attention to you if you wear Crocs than if you show up with an escort on your arm. No one notices because they're all in their own worlds. Though crocs do turn heads...

Had a social lunch out last month with a lady that was 20 years younger. Both dressed very casual, nothing sexy or dressy, at a casual lunch spot. I think she was a bit self conscious because of the age gap but no one looked twice at us. Not sure how plausible we’d look as a “real couple”. But it’s probably not that uncommon at all to see a middle aged white guy with a younger Asian lady lol
